About the Client

Save A Lot Food Stores Ltd. is an American discount supermarket chain store headquartered in St. Ann, Missouri, in Greater St. Louis. It is a subsidiary of Onex Corporation with about 900 independently owned and operated stores across 32 states in the United States with over $4 billion in annual sales.

The Solution

  • Jade detailed and defined QA processes leading to less QA turnaround time to test the system with End-to-End regression test support with a shift-left approach to identify defects at an early stage
  • Implemented the Jenkins CI/CD - Scheduled test execution over the weekend
  • Executed well-documented test artifacts (test cases, execution results, execution logs, etc.)
  • With domain expertise, smoothened Architect, Dev, and QA engagement during the project life cycle

Business Requirements

Save a lot uses Oracle Fusion as an ERP System. As part of business growth, it needs to make frequent changes/enhancements and configuration changes. In the absence of a regression pack, only progression testing and sanity testing were carried out. Save a Lot wanted a regression test pack and the ability to auto-run it as part of the release cycle

Save a Lot had complex and dependent use cases along with Testing of Approval hierarchies Test execution on multiple environments like UAT & PROD, resulting in the time required for the testing

Save a lot required Centralized team scenarios which are time-consuming and require many clicks and navigation through multiple screens. E.g., testing of the Requisition to Pay process involves more than 100 clicks and data entry on more than 12 screens and takes more than an hour to test just one test scenario
