How We Helped

The Jade Global solution was a rapid R12 implementation which was completed quickly and with minimum disruption to the clients business. To achieve this objective Jade Global worked onsite with the clients team to iteratively upgrade the clients 11.5.10 production environment through testing cycles, modifying customizations as required, and training the business team on new R12 functionality.

Jade Global also provided post implementation support, and the DBA team which took control of the upgrade to new hardware and a 64 bit Linux OS, upgraded the database and the application of all required patches to bring the client to the EBS R12 release level.

The solution strategy was to complete a “technical upgrade” in which the client did not adopt any new R12 functionality, beyond those changes which are mandatory as a part of the R12 upgrade.

The client was able to complete an R12 upgrade in a little over 4 months, with a minimum of disruption to the business. The client has been able to adopt in a phased incremental fashion new features and functionality available in the R12 release and is now positioned with secure, extensible and reliable platform for growth through 2016.
